Unemployment rates down in 83 counties in January

Unemployment rates fell in 83 Kentucky counties between January 2012 and January 2013, while 33 county rates increased and four stayed the same, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet. Lexmark Acquires 2 Software Companies for $31.5 Million

Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today announced the completion of two acquisitions, San Francisco-based Twistage and Seattle-based AccessVia. Doughby’s Restaurant will open its 1st Lexington location in The Lex at 501 South Broadway in downtown Lexington. Doughby’s Restaurant features a variety of calzones and crepes for delivery and carry-out. The restaurant is slated to open in March 2013.
