NAI Isaac Brings Dollar Zone to Versailles Shoppes

Dollar Zone will open its 1st Versailles location in the Versailles Shoppes located at the intersection of Crossfield Drive and US 60. Dollar Zone is slated to open its 2,560 sf store in Summer 2013. Versailles Shoppes tenants include Little Caesars Pizza and Sherwin Williams. NAI Isaac’s Paul Ray Smith and Jim Kemper represented the Landlord, Prizm Properties, LLC in this transaction.

Hayashi Telempu Expanding to Frankfort, Creating 103 Jobs

Japanese-owned automotive supplier Hayashi Telempu North America Corporation will expand its Kentucky presence, establishing manufacturing operations in Frankfort. The investment of more than $10.7 million will create 103 jobs.  The company’s decision stems from recent economic development trips Gov. Beshear made to Japan, including a visit in May 2012, according to a release from the governor’s office. In May, the Lexington Chamberlin Edmonds Associates office will relocate to a larger space within the same building at One Paragon Centre at the intersection of Harrodsburg Road (US 68) and New Circle Road. Paul Ray Smith, Executive Vice President and Bruce Isaac, SIOR, CCIM, Senior Vice President of NAI Isaac Commercial Properties and Michael Lipton with Colliers represented the Tenant in this transaction. NAI Isaac Brings Plum Yum Frozen Yogurt & Deli to Glasgow, KY

Plum Yum Yogurt & Deli will open its first Glasgow, KY store in the Barren River Plaza. The 4,500 square foot restaurant will open this summer. The Tennessee based company specializes in healthy self-serve frozen yogurt and toppings as well as soups, wraps and sandwiches. Plum Yum will join Goody’s, Burke’s Outlet and TJ Samson Community Hospital Health Pavilion. Glasgow is in Barren County, in south-central Kentucky, about 90 miles southeast of Louisville and 90 miles northeast of Nashville. Paul Ray Smith and Jim Kemper of NAI Isaac, represented the Landlord.

Unemployment rates down in 83 counties in January

Unemployment rates fell in 83 Kentucky counties between January 2012 and January 2013, while 33 county rates increased and four stayed the same, according to the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
