Lexington Among 2011 Best Cities for Job Growth

Lexington, Kentucky recently received recognition for job potential in 2011. In a survey by Manpower earlier this year, Lexington ranked #12 among the 2011 Best Cities for Job Growth in NewGeography.com. Lexington-Fayette County moved up two spots from last year to #12 in the mid-sized cities category, which included a non-farm employment base of between 150,000 and 450,000 jobs. The ranking measured job growth between January 2010 and January 2011.
