Toyota, IBM, 3M among Forbes’ list of World’s Ten Most Innovative Companies

In a recent article on Forbes.com, three companies with presences in and around Lexington, Kentucky, were listed among the World’s Ten Most Innovative Companies. The three companies were Toyota, 3M, and IBM. You would think that to attain the title of “Most Innovative” that a company would have to spend a big chuck on innovation. However, this Forbes article shows that spending heavily on innovation doesn’t guarantee success, and also stresses that those companies that appear on this list often don’t spend the most money on the process of innovation.
