Protect Your Property This Holiday Season
The holiday season has arrived. Is your business prepared for the unique safety challenges presented
during this time of year? Our Property
Management staff would like to lend a hand by providing some helpful tips to prevent potential issues from spoiling the holiday season.
1. Avoid
unexpected safety hazards when decorating the interior of your space. To avoid potential fire and safety hazards, ensure that all power
cords are out of the way of general customer traffic. Only have lights and electronic decorations
on if your space is occupied. Also make
sure that all connections utilize surge protectors to avoid undue strain on
your space’s electrical system.
2. Keep a closer eye on strangers
visiting your property. Property thefts
may increase during this time of year.
Report all suspicious persons to your local police department immediately.
3. Ensure that your space’s security
devices are in good working condition.
Report any faulty door locks or windows to your property manager
immediately.
4. Any
outside decor must be pre-approved by your landlord. If you wish to utilize any exterior
decorations during the holiday season, contact your property manager to obtain
permission.
5. Many charitable organizations
utilize this time of year to raise money for their cause. Any solicitations occurring on the exterior of your premises
must first be approved by your landlord.
Contact your property manager to obtain permission.
